Puppy Vaccination Schedule 8 weeks of age
Fecal Test 10 weeks of age
Coronavirus #1 12 weeks of age
Canine Influenza #1 16 weeks of age
Canine Influenza #2
Heartworm Test 24 weeks of age
Seldom does anyone obtain a puppy at exactly 8 weeks of age. Animal Clinic of Kendallwood recommends that dogs younger than 16 weeks receive initial vaccinations and subsequent booster injections at biweekly intervals and a final booster and rabies vaccination four weeks later.
Vaccinations and deworming given by breeders, pet stores and animal shelters are seldom reliable as sole disease prevention source. Please discuss them with the doctor.
