Kitten Vaccination Schedule
8 weeks of age
Begins your kitten’s protection against Feline Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, and Rhinotracheitis. This is commonly called a “distemper” shot
This laboratory test will assist the veterinarian in keeping your new kitten worm free and healthy
12 weeks of age
16 weeks of age
To protect your pet from rabies, a fatal disease affecting the brain and central nervous tissue of warm-blooded animals.
24 weeks of age
Recommended for a ll pets to help control the pet population and to eliminate the risk of hormonally-related cancers later in life.
- May be performed any time after kitten is weaned, as long as the kitten is healthy
- Advised for those pets that have developed destructive clawing habits in the home and for families with children. Discuss further with the veterinarian.
Cats older than 8 weeks will have a similar vaccination schedule.
